Delivering solutions rooted in Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainability for a Just Future for People and the Earth. For Our Earth.
Our Earth Alliance is dedicated to supporting local communities and Indigenous groups to become central in managing their natural resources. We collaborate closely with communities throughout each phase of our programs, from planning to evaluation, utilizing tools such as the Governance Index to ensure both effectiveness and sustainability. Our initiatives include training sessions, workshops, the formation of natural resource management groups, and the development of projects rooted in community participation.
Our Earth Alliance advocates for policies that foster environmental sustainability and community advancement through vigorous advocacy and strategic partnerships. We collaborate with government bodies, donors, and other key stakeholders to enhance the initiatives of the alliance, using data and field evidence to shape policy. Our efforts include lobbying, drafting policy briefs, collaborating with research institutions and universities, as well as public campaigns to raise awareness about environmental issues.
Our Earth Alliance utilizes data and scientific evidence to support advocacy and decision-making by establishing a robust Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) system across all member organizations. We collect and analyze data to demonstrate program impacts, regularly report progress, publish research findings, and disseminate case studies that highlight the success of community-based approaches.
Aliansi BUMI KITA ensures the active involvement of all community groups, including women, youth, and other vulnerable groups, in every program. We implement a flexible approach that adapts to changing conditions. By identifying the specific needs of each group and designing inclusive programs, we utilize community feedback mechanisms to ensure our initiatives remain relevant and adaptive.
